HIGHLIGHTS OF SOUTH AFRICA vs ARGENTINA IN SALTA

FULL TIME: ENGLAND 33 – WALES 19

Alun Wyn Jones interview

We came out of the blocks a bit slow. We let in two soft tries.

We can use [rustiness] as an excuse but we are professionals. We are well aware where we went wrong in that first half. We have another opportunity next week. There is lots for us to work on which is not a bad thing, but it would have been nice to get the win today.

[On his record-breaking feat today] It’s just another game.

George Ford interview

It’s a good start. We said what a great opportunity it would be. We wanted to work together and not everything was going to be perfect and we knew that. But we found a way.

We wanted to start building a winning mentality. Four lads making their debut was a pleasure to be a part of. We will enjoy tonight but there is still lots to work on.

13:00 Try England – Joe Cokanasiga

11:00 England over the line TMO – The TMO rules there is no conclusive proof, which is correct. Vunipola probably did get it down, but no one could see it

It’s all England in the first 10 mins..

04:00 Try England – converted

03:00 Good start by England, scrum inside Wales 22

Kick Off..

The anthems are coming up, after a piercing rendition of Jerusalem.

Weather,  will stay dry and mild, with a smattering of cloud.  Hopefully we will see some great running rugby!

A warm-up match ahead of the Rugby World Cup. It is the first in a series of matches before the teams fly out to Japan.

England will play four matches to prepare for the tournament, starting with a double header against Wales before clashes with Ireland and Italy.

Wales, as mentioned earlier, will face off against England on two occasions, then twice more against Ireland.

The Welsh are chasing a 15th successive victory.
