In the Bitcoin News Review today… The South Korean Financial Services Commission (FSC) has established a task force to design regulatory framework for Bitcoin companies and users; Spanish banking giant Banco Santander is no longer a member of the R3 blockchain consortium; The Internet of Things (IoT) is a fast-growing industry destined to transform homes, cities, farms, factories, and practically everything else by making them smart and more efficient; Goldman Sachs has reportedly elected not to renew its membership in blockchain consortium R3CEV and Germany’s central bank is hosting a four-day conference on blockchain this week.

UBS is expanding its footprint in China, a move that will also see the Swiss banking group boost its funding for blockchain research.

India is in the process of demonetization and with 1% of Indians investing into Bitcoin, the price could reach over $1000 by year end.
