Bitcoin News 23 August 2017 – Japan’s Bitcoin Boom – 50 Bitcoin Exchanges Register with FSA

Bitcoin News today and further to Japan legalizing Bitcoin in April 2017, approximately 50 Bitcoin Exchanges have registered with the Japanese Financial Services Agency and all will be reviewed. There are startups that operate Bitcoin exchanges like Bitflyer and Coincheck, however, there is also a growing number of large corporations adding Bitcoin exchanges as part of their services.


Since the Government legalized Bitcoin as a payment system in Japan, adoption by merchants, consumers, institutions, and investors have soared. The Japanese Yen continues to dominate Bitcoin trading volume globally. More info on currency split – click here
