Fake Bitcoin news or not 50 Cent?

Recently it was reported that Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, discovered that from his 2014 album, “Animal Ambition,” he banked 700 bitcoins in payment, an amount that was worth between $7 million and $8 million during the boom of December 2017.

But now The Blast celebrity news site, citing court documents from his bankruptcy case, reports that rapper Curtis Jackson “never owned, and does not own, a bitcoin account or any bitcoins, and to the best of his knowledge, none of his companies had a bitcoin account from 2014 to the present.”

50 Cent has stressed that he has never owned a Bitcoin and even though payment was accepted in Bitcoin, it was converted by a third party before it reached him or his companies.
