England’s Wayne Barnes will referee South Africa’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final against hosts Japan in Tokyo on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 12:15 (SA time)
Fans are looking forward to a cracking game as Japan is on a major roll, they have now moved up to 7th place in the world rankings with the Springboks remaining in 5th place.
Barnes was the referee when the Springboks beat Italy 49-3 earlier in the tournament.
A scary thought for the Springboks when looking ahead to the final is that they might draw Jerome Garces again as he is in the team of refs selected for the final stages of RWC 2019.
