Eco-Warriors converge on South Africa’s Garden Route in Support of International Cleanup Day

The Waste Nothing Cleanup on 21 September 2019, in support of International Cleanup Day, was a resounding success in the seaside town of Knysna on the Garden Route of South Africa.     In one of the areas being cleaned, of the bags collected, 5 bags were made up of recycling material, mainly glass bottles, and 5 bottle bricks were made.  This is equivalent to 10 bags of rubbish being saved from going back to landfill.  Only 1 black bag of rubbish headed to landfill as these were really dirty that…
